TRFC Fifth & Final Report

This final Fifth and final report was prepared for the Government of Canada as a summary of 5.5 years delivering the program. It supports the concept of continuing the partnership with TRFC as a viable partner in doing global grants in the world 
 
It supports the concept of continuing the partnership with TRFC as a viable partner in doing global grants in the world. Some of the rationale was:
  • Financial low cost of delivery
  • Volunteer component
  • Accountability
  • Sustainability many other reasons identified within the document
 
These indicators are captured in the report.
 
Highlights in the report:
  • Executive Summary:  Showcased Trends in 5 areas with data:  health, maternal healthcare, capacity building for women, regions and children in the world impacted through delivery of these 143 grants.
 
New to the report:
  • Financial statements from RI
  • RI’s perspective on successes and challenges of the program
  • Project oversight using Columbia and Peru visits with Trustee Dean Rohrs, Chair, Betty Screpnek and Emily Royal from Global Affairs Canada
  • Our voice Nationally and Internationally - How did we use media to showcase to Canadian & Global Rotarians this partnership with the Government of Canada and its impact in doing good in the world.
